Slow Cook Chicken and Dumplings

Day 17 out of ... 366 - We're making progress! :)



  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, frozen
  • 2 Tablespoons of salted butter
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 1/2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup of white cooking wine
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste 
  • 1 batch of drop biscuits

1. Put frozen chicken in slow cooker, cover with soup, broth and wine. Add butter, seasoning, parsley, onion and salt and pepper to chicken.
2. Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours on High heat.
3. An hour before serving, drop biscuits in by the spoonful. Stir and cover. Cook until dough is no longer raw.
